The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is the charity we are supporting currently and for 2008 with a two week break for The British Legion Poppy Day Appeal in November. The whole of Town Street is supporting this charity in 2008. Whizz-Kidz, a charity intended to help disabled children with mobility, received just over £1,000 that was raised by staff and customers. The RNLI was the charity for 2006/7 and over £1,100 was raised. |

26 September 2008 Bag a Bra Day The pub and Town Street traders are supporting National Air Ambulance Day with a gazebo in Town Street and a collection of unwanted bras asa these raise most money for the Air Ambulance. Please doin ate any unwanted bras direct on the day or to the pub before hand. |
